Teltonika FMC800 OBD-II GPS Tracker with LTE Cat 1, Bluetooth & Fleet Management

The Teltonika FMC800 is a plug-and-play vehicle tracker that connects directly to your car’s OBD-II port, so no wires or external antennas required for installation. The built-in Quectel EG915U-EU modem delivers LTE Cat 1 connectivity, with fallback to GSM/GPRS, giving you reliable 4G performance (max 10 Mbps DL / 5 Mbps UL) across common LTE FDD bands (B1, B3, B7, B8, B20, B28). On the GNSS side, it supports multiple satellite systems including GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, BeiDou, and QZSS, and it features a 33-channel receiver with sensitivity reaching –165 dBm. The tracker obtains position fixes very quickly (hot start < 1 s) and achieves a position accuracy of under 2.5 m CEP. It also monitors vehicle behavior with scenarios like eco-driving and crash detection using its accelerometer, and supports geofencing, over-speed, idling, towing, and unplugging events.

The FMC800 is designed to be energy-efficient and ideal for fleet or telematics deployments. It draws power from the OBD-II port (10–30 V DC) and includes a 170 mAh Li-Ion backup battery to remain operational even if the vehicle battery is disconnected. Bluetooth 4.0 + LE support enables wireless connection to BLE sensors and beacons (such as temperature, humidity, magnet, or motion sensors), without additional cabling. To preserve power, the device supports multiple sleep modes such as GPS Sleep, Online Deep Sleep, Deep Sleep, and Ultra Deep Sleep, which reduce current draw while the vehicle is stationary. Configuration and firmware updates can be handled via Teltonika Configurator (USB or Bluetooth) or remotely via FOTA Web. It features 128 MB of internal flash storage, a micro-SIM slot, and two status LEDs for real-time diagnostics. Combined, these features make the FMC800 a compact yet powerful solution for real-time vehicle tracking, driver behavior analytics, and fleet management.
