POE Injector 16-Port Gigabit Rackmount Passive PoE Injector

The POE16PG is a 16-port passive PoE injector designed for centralized power distribution in Gigabit Ethernet installations. It provides thirty-two RJ45 interfaces arranged as sixteen independent channels, with one LAN input and one PoE output for each connected device. This configuration allows a conventional switch or router without PoE capability to deliver network data and power to compatible wireless access points, outdoor CPE units, IP cameras, VoIP equipment, and other Ethernet devices without using a separate injector for every connection. All RJ45 interfaces support data rates of up to 1 Gbps when used with suitable Gigabit equipment and cabling, helping retain the available network throughput across all sixteen channels.

The 1U housing is designed for installation in a standard 19-inch rack, allowing the injector to be placed alongside switches, routers, patch panels, and other network equipment. A single centrally installed unit can serve up to sixteen compatible passive PoE devices, reducing the number of individual adapters and keeping power and data cabling more organized inside the rack. An external power supply is required and is not included. Because the POE16PG uses passive PoE, the selected power source and every connected device must use matching voltage, polarity, current requirements, and PoE pin arrangements. Compatibility with IEEE 802.3af, 802.3at, or 802.3bt should not be assumed.
