APOE08 PoE Injector – 8-Port Fast Ethernet PoE Injector

The APOE08 is an eight-port passive PoE injector that powers up to eight passive PoE devices from a single power source. It is intended for installations using devices such as access points, IP cameras, and IP phones, allowing several endpoints to receive data and power through dedicated RJ45 outputs. The injector supports 10/100 Mbps data transmission, with data carried on RJ45 pins 1, 2, 3, and 6 while power uses pins 4 and 5 for positive polarity and pins 7 and 8 for negative polarity. This pin arrangement defines how data and power are delivered through each output and is therefore important when matching the injector to the connected passive PoE devices.

Power can be supplied from a 12–48 VDC source through either the DC jack or the terminal block connector, giving two documented methods for feeding the injector. The DC input uses a 2.1 × 5.5 mm connector, and the available output power depends on the applied input power. Each of the eight channels has its own On/Off switch, so power delivery can be controlled independently for individual connected devices without affecting the other channels. This channel-level control works together with the shared power input: one source feeds the injector, while each output can be enabled or disabled separately. The APOE08 therefore combines centralized passive PoE power distribution with independent switching across eight Ethernet connections.
