QuSIM Nano Slot – IP67 Outdoor Mini SIM Adapter for Routerboards

QuWireless QuSIM for routerboards is a waterproof outdoor Nano SIM slot to Mini SIM adapter designed for use with routerboards, including MikroTik devices. It provides a practical way to position the Nano SIM card slot outside the equipment while maintaining a Mini SIM connection to the routerboard itself. This arrangement separates the user-accessible SIM interface from the internal connector, allowing the SIM card to be inserted through the external slot without changing the Mini SIM interface required by the connected device. The adapter uses a 20 cm flexible tape between the outdoor slot assembly and the Mini SIM connector, providing the physical reach needed to connect the externally mounted SIM interface with the routerboard inside the installation.

The outdoor slot is protected to IP67, making the adapter suitable for installations where the SIM access point may be exposed to weather conditions. Installation is based on an M21 mounting hole with a 19.2 mm cutoff, defining the required panel opening for securing the external slot assembly. Once mounted, the Nano SIM slot remains accessible from outside while the flexible connection extends to the Mini SIM connector within the equipment. The specified operating temperature range of −20 °C to +45 °C further defines the environmental conditions in which the adapter can be used, making QuSIM a purpose-built interface for outdoor routerboard installations requiring external Nano SIM access.
