The AWC08-3 is a three-pin IP68 waterproof connector designed for cable connections that require reliable protection against dust and water. The connector consists of a fixed threaded section and a mating cable connector, creating a detachable connection for electrical wiring. Installation is carried out through a panel using a threaded mounting section, securing nut, and O-ring, while the mating connector uses a clamp ring, rubber seal, and sealing nut to complete the assembly around the cable. The recommended panel opening is 17.1 mm, and the connector is intended for panels with a thickness of 2.0 to 4.0 mm, helping ensure correct installation and sealing. The cable sealing components support cables with an internal diameter of either 8 mm or 10 mm, allowing the connector to accommodate different cable sizes while maintaining the specified level of protection.

The housing is manufactured from black Nylon 66 with UL94 V-0 flame-retardant properties and glass-fibre reinforcement, while the contacts are made of brass with a 2 µm gold layer over nickel plating to provide the electrical connection. The three-pin AWC08-3 version is rated for a maximum current of 10 A, making it suitable for applications that require this current capacity. The cable-side assembly has a total length of 57 ± 2 mm, and the threaded mounting section uses an M17 × 1.0 thread for installation. The connector is also UV resistant and manufactured in Taiwan, making it suitable for applications where the connection may be exposed to outdoor conditions. Its sealed construction, detachable cable connection, and panel installation method provide a practical solution for equipment requiring a protected electrical interface.
