Rugged 5G Router
The Teltonika ATRM50 is a professional 5G router created specifically for use in transportation. It is designed to deliver reliable internet on moving vehicles such as trains, buses, trucks, and industrial machines. The device is built in a strong anodized aluminum housing and is certified to EN 45545-2 for fire safety and EN 50155 for railway applications, meaning it can withstand vibration, shock, and harsh environmental conditions. It features four M12 X-coded Gigabit Ethernet ports, which provide stable and vibration-proof wired connections for onboard equipment such as passenger Wi-Fi, CCTV, or ticketing systems. Power is supplied through an M12 A-coded connector, ensuring secure operation even in rugged conditions. The ATRM50 can operate in a wide temperature range and tolerate electrical disturbances, making it perfectly suited for public transport operators and logistics companies that need stable and secure connectivity on the move.
Blazing Mobile Speeds
The ATRM50 takes advantage of the latest 5G Sub-6 GHz technology, offering download speeds up to 3.4 Gbps and upload speeds up to 900 Mbps, thanks to advanced MIMO (4×4 for downloads, 2×2 for uploads). For areas without 5G coverage, it automatically falls back to 4G LTE Cat 19, with download speeds up to 1.6 Gbps, or even 3G networks if required. To ensure constant connectivity, the router supports Dual SIM and eSIM™ technology, which enables automatic switching between mobile operators based on signal strength, roaming agreements, or custom rules. This makes it possible to keep a stable internet connection when crossing borders, traveling through rural areas, or working in places with weak signals. With these capabilities, the ATRM50 ensures reliable internet access for passengers, staff, and onboard systems, even under demanding conditions.
Advanced Management Features
Beyond high-speed connectivity, the ATRM50 offers advanced features for monitoring and control. It includes built-in GNSS positioning (GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, Galileo, QZSS), allowing fleet managers to track vehicles in real time and synchronize critical systems with accurate time data. The router runs on a MediaTek dual-core 880 MHz processor with 256 MB DDR3 RAM and 16 MB NOR + 256 MB NAND flash storage, powered by the RutOS operating system (based on OpenWrt). This provides advanced routing, VPN support (IPsec, WireGuard, OpenVPN, GRE, etc.), firewall rules, and IoT protocols like Modbus, MQTT, and OPC UA. The router integrates with Teltonika RMS remote management, giving administrators centralized monitoring, firmware updates, and configuration deployment across fleets. Extra functions such as ignition detection and low-battery protection make it practical for vehicles. With these tools, the ATRM50 becomes a reliable, secure, and easily managed solution for transport networks.
