Industrial Gigabit PoE Injector with Surge Protection, APOE03GS

The APOE03GS is a single-port Gigabit redundant PoE midspan/injector for supplying DC power to compatible PoE network devices through an RJ-45 connection. It supports 10/100/1000 Base-T Ethernet and IEEE 802.3af/at PoE using Mode B, with power delivered through pins 4/5 and 7/8. This configuration allows the injector to power compatible equipment such as wireless access points, IP phones, and IP surveillance cameras over the network cable. The input accepts 5-57 V DC, with 48 V DC specified as the nominal voltage, while the output voltage is based on the input voltage. Both input and output current are specified at a maximum of 1.7 A. A terminal block connection can be used with a UPS, adding a redundant power source when the primary supply is interrupted.

The APOE03GS operates from -35 to 60 °C and can be stored at temperatures from -45 to 70 °C, with supported operating humidity of 10-90% non-condensing. Its DC power plug measures 2.1/5.5 mm with a length of 12 ± 0.5 mm and uses positive polarity inside and negative polarity outside. The enclosure is made from black ABS with a textured finish and measures 67 × 67 × 24 mm. With a weight of 40 g, the unit remains compact and lightweight for placement alongside compatible network equipment. These electrical, environmental, and mechanical characteristics define the installation parameters for integrating the injector into PoE deployments requiring Gigabit Ethernet connectivity and a terminal-block connection for UPS-backed power redundancy.
