Alfa APOE03 Fast Ethernet Passive PoE Injector, 5–57V DC, 48W, Dual Power Input

The APOE03 is a passive PoE injector for Fast Ethernet installations, delivering network data and electrical power to compatible passive PoE devices over a single Ethernet cable. It supports 10/100TX Mbps connections and works with Cat.5, Cat.5e, and Cat.6 cabling terminated with RJ45 connectors. Power is carried on pins 4/5 and 7/8, while data uses pins 1/2 and 3/6. The injector supports 5-57 V DC input and output, with a maximum power of 48 W, allowing it to be used with compatible passive PoE equipment operating across this voltage range. Data input connects to a PC, hub, or switch, while the powered Ethernet output carries both data and power to the connected device.

The APOE03 includes two DC inputs: a 3-pin screw terminal block and a power jack, allowing two power sources to be connected. A built-in power LED gives an indication of power status. Installation requires no software or special tools, and the unit can be wall-mounted. The injector operates from 0 to 40 °C, with a storage range of -20 to 60 °C, and supports 10-80% non-condensing operating humidity. Its 67 × 67 × 24 mm enclosure and 40 g weight simplify placement alongside networking equipment. These characteristics combine Fast Ethernet data transport, passive PoE power delivery, and dual DC power inputs in one device for compatible passive PoE access points, IP cameras, and other Ethernet equipment.
