Alfa APOE03GR Gigabit PoE Injector with Remote Reset | IEEE 802.3af/at, Redundant Power Input

The APOE03GR is a single-port Gigabit redundant PoE injector for supplying DC power to compatible PoE network devices over an RJ-45 connection. It supports 10/100/1000 Base-T Ethernet and IEEE 802.3af/at PoE using Mode B, with power carried on pins 4/5 and 7/8. This allows the injector to power compatible equipment such as wireless access points, IP phones, and IP surveillance cameras through the network cable. The input accepts 5-57 V DC, with 48 V DC as the nominal voltage, while the output voltage follows the input. Maximum input and output current are both 1.7 A. A terminal block connection can be used with a UPS, adding a redundant power source if the primary supply is interrupted.

For installation, the APOE03GR uses a DC power plug measuring 2.1/5.5 mm with a length of 12 ± 0.5 mm and positive polarity inside with negative polarity outside. The injector operates from -35 to 60 °C and can be stored from -45 to 70 °C, while supported operating humidity is 10-90% non-condensing. Its enclosure is made from black ABS with a textured finish and measures 67 × 67 × 24 mm. The 40 g weight keeps the unit compact and lightweight for placement alongside compatible network equipment. These electrical, environmental, and mechanical characteristics define the installation parameters for using the injector in Gigabit Ethernet PoE deployments that require network connectivity and the option of UPS-backed power redundancy.
