Industrial Gigabit PoE Injector APOE03G | 10/100/1000Base-T IEEE 802.3af/at Midspan with Redundant DC Input

The APOE03G is a single-port Gigabit redundant PoE injector for supplying DC power to compatible PoE network devices over an RJ-45 connection. It supports 10/100/1000 Base-T Ethernet and IEEE 802.3af/at PoE using Mode B, with power delivered through pins 4/5 and 7/8. This arrangement enables the injector to power compatible devices such as wireless access points, IP phones, and IP surveillance cameras through the network cable. The input accepts 5-57 V DC, with 48 V DC specified as the nominal value, while the output voltage follows the input voltage. Maximum current is 1.7 A. The APOE03G also includes a terminal block connection for backup power, allowing it to be connected to a UPS so that an additional power source is available if the primary supply is interrupted.

For integration into different installations, the injector uses a DC power plug with 2.1/5.5 mm dimensions and a length of 12 ± 0.5 mm, with positive polarity on the inside and negative polarity on the outside. Its operating temperature range extends from -35 to 60 °C, while storage is supported from -45 to 70 °C. The device is specified for 10-90% non-condensing operating humidity. The enclosure is made from textured black ABS and measures 67 × 67 × 24 mm, resulting in a compact form factor for placement alongside compatible networking equipment. The APOE03G weighs 40 g, keeping the unit lightweight while retaining the connections required for both primary and redundant power arrangements.
