Detailed description
180° Panoramic Monitoring
The Milesight panoramic mini dome network camera is designed to cover a full 180° horizontal scene with a single device. Its fixed 1.68 mm lens captures a broad view across entrances, open areas, corridors, and other locations where continuous side-to-side visibility is required. This panoramic format helps reduce the need to divide one scene between several separate viewing directions. An integrated junction box keeps the installation arrangement compact and supports organized cable management. Day, night, automatic, customized, and scheduled operating modes allow the camera to adapt its behaviour to changing light conditions throughout the day and to follow the operating pattern required at the installation site.
Integrated infrared illumination supports visibility at distances of up to 15 metres when ambient light is insufficient, while the built-in microphone adds audio capture to the video stream. The housing is made from vandal-resistant metal with an IK10 rating and provides weather protection up to IP67, supporting installation in exposed indoor or outdoor locations. Power can be supplied through PoE according to IEEE 802.3af or through a 12 V DC input, giving installers two practical deployment options. The camera operates from -40 °C to 60 °C and in non-condensing humidity from 0% to 90%, allowing use across a wide range of environmental conditions without changing the basic installation concept.

Detailed 5 MP Imaging
The MS-C5376-PA uses a 1/2.8-inch progressive scan CMOS sensor to produce panoramic images at up to 2592 × 1944 resolution. Its 95° vertical field of view complements the full 180° horizontal coverage by including a substantial area above and below the central viewing line. Colour imaging is supported down to 0.008 lux at F2.0, while black-and-white operation reaches 0 lux when the infrared illumination is active. A 120 dB Super WDR function helps retain useful detail when bright and dark areas appear within the same panoramic scene. Shutter speeds from 1/100000 second to 1 second provide adjustment for varying lighting and movement.
The primary stream delivers the original 2592 × 1944 image at up to 30 fps in 60 Hz environments or 25 fps in 50 Hz environments. Additional primary-stream resolutions, together with secondary and tertiary streams, allow recording, live viewing, and remote access to use different profiles according to bandwidth and image-quality requirements. H.265+, H.265, H.264+, H.264, and MJPEG compression provide flexible compatibility and storage management, while the adjustable 16 Kbps to 16 Mbps bit rate supports CBR or VBR operation. Up to eight regions of interest can receive targeted encoding attention, and up to eight privacy masks can conceal selected areas. Brightness, contrast, saturation, and sharpness controls support further image adjustment.

Intelligent Event Management
Built-in intelligent analytics help the camera identify defined activity across the panoramic scene and generate more relevant monitoring events. Supported functions include region entrance and exit detection, advanced motion detection, tamper detection, line crossing, loitering, and recognition of objects that have been left behind or removed. People counting records the number of individuals entering or leaving and supports regional counting across as many as four detection areas. Additional processing tools include heat mapping, backlight and highlight compensation, two-dimensional and three-dimensional noise reduction, automatic white balance, anti-flicker, corridor mode, deblur, watermarking, automatic gain control, and IP address filtering for more controlled system operation.
Events can be triggered by motion detection, network disconnection, audio alarms, and other configured conditions. Available responses include FTP or SMTP upload, recording to the memory card, SIP phone notification, and HTTP notification. Local storage accepts microSD, SDHC, or SDXC cards with capacities up to 256 GB, while NAS recording is supported through NFS or SMB/CIFS together with ANR. The camera connects through a 10/100 Mbps RJ45 Ethernet port and supports ONVIF Profiles G, Q, S, and T, an API, SIP, and Voice and Video over IP. A broad set of standard network protocols allows integration into existing IP video and network environments while supporting different recording and notification workflows.
