The Nebula FWA505v2 is a 5G AX3000 indoor router designed to provide mobile broadband and dual-band WiFi from a single compact device. It combines 5G NR connectivity with WiFi 6 sharing, allowing users to connect through wireless access or through its gigabit Ethernet interfaces. The router supports theoretical 5G download rates of up to 4.67 Gbps and AX3000 WiFi 6 link rates of up to 3,000 Mbps, giving it the capacity to serve demanding everyday traffic when the network environment allows. With concurrent 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz WiFi, it can share connectivity with up to 64 WiFi-enabled devices, supporting mixed client environments from one indoor router.

Four embedded omni-directional 5G/4G antennas help the router receive signal from different directions, supporting practical indoor placement options where signal conditions may vary. The cellular interface supports both 5G SA and NSA modes, as well as 4G LTE, giving the device flexibility across available mobile network deployments. The application layout shows use in SMB, retail, and home environments, where the router can connect wireless clients directly and also provide wired access for devices or a switch. LAN2 can also be configured as an Ethernet WAN port, enabling failover between WAN interfaces when needed.

The FWA505v2 is built for quick deployment without complex cabling. A 4FF Nano SIM slot allows mobile connectivity to be started by inserting a SIM card, while the Nebula mobile app guides users through setup with a step-by-step process. The same app provides access to device settings, performance monitoring, and network management from a mobile interface, helping installers or site owners bring a connection online without requiring dedicated controller hardware. LED indicators show power and system status, WAN or Internet status, mobile signal strength, and WiFi or WPS status, making it easier to check the device state at a glance.

Nebula cloud management extends the router beyond local setup by supporting centralized control of wireless, switching, security, and fixed wireless access devices from one platform. It enables registration, configuration, monitoring, dashboard views, location map and floor plan visualization, and over-the-air firmware management. Depending on the selected Nebula plan, additional functions may include advanced firmware scheduling, automatic network topology, email users and alert notifications, organizational audit logs, backup and restore configuration, and priority Nebula support. This makes the router practical not only for a single small site, but also for environments where remote visibility, scalable deployment, and simplified ongoing management are required.

The router includes layered network protection and access control functions for maintaining stable and manageable site connectivity. Its firewall can be enabled or disabled through the graphical interface and supports SPI traffic inspection, DoS attack detection, and LAN-to-WAN application-level filtering for services such as HTTP, Telnet, and Ping. MAC address filtering, IP address filtering, and URL filtering allow administrators to define more granular access control rules. VPN pass-through support for PPTP, IPSec, and L2TP helps users maintain secure tunnel compatibility without describing the router as a VPN endpoint.

For network configuration, the FWA505v2 supports IPv4/IPv6 dual stack and IPv6-only operation, DHCP client and server functions, NAT and NAPT, port forwarding, DMZ, bridge or router mode, Dynamic DNS for the first APN, and static or dynamic routing. WLAN functions include multiple SSIDs, hidden SSID, WPS, WMM QoS, channel selection, WLAN scheduling, band steering, and EasyMesh R2 compliance. The device is powered through a DC adapter, has a peak power consumption below 15 W, and is intended for indoor operating temperatures from -10 °C to 40 °C. Its housing uses 95% recycled plastic, while the package includes a power adapter, Ethernet cable, QR-code user documentation, and safety warning information for initial installation.
