Alfa PD-1000R Gigabit PoE Converter with Adjustable 5V/9V/12V/18V Output

The Alfa PD-1000R is a Gigabit PoE converter designed to deliver both network data and operating power to compatible Ethernet equipment through standard cabling. It accepts a 48 V DC PoE input and supports IEEE 802.3at and IEEE 802.3af, with one RJ-45 connection for data and power input and one RJ-45 connection for data and power output. The device is intended for Ethernet terminals such as IP telephone sets, wireless access points, and Internet cameras. By carrying power together with LAN data over the Ethernet connection, the PD-1000R supports installations where the connected terminal receives its operating power through the same cabling infrastructure used for communication.

A key function of the PD-1000R is its selectable output voltage. A built-in switch lets the output be set to 5 V, 9 V, 12 V, or 18 V, allowing the required voltage to be selected directly on the unit for supported equipment. LED indicators correspond to the four available voltage settings, giving a visible indication of the selected output. The converter supports Gigabit Ethernet as well as 10BASE-T and 100BASE-TX operation, with cable category requirements varying by Ethernet speed. It also includes ±15 kV Ethernet isolation for ESD protection. Together, the adjustable voltage output, Gigabit data support, and combined power-and-data connections define the PD-1000R as an inline PoE converter for supplying compatible network terminals from a 48 V PoE source.
