The device supports a wide range of network protocols such as TCP, UDP, IPv4, IPv6, ICMP, NTP, DNS, HTTP, HTTPS, SFTP, FTP, SMTP, SSL/TLS, ARP, VRRP, PPP, PPPoE, UPnP, SSH, DHCP, Telnet, SMPP, SNMP, MQTT, and Wake-on-LAN. DHCP functionality includes static and dynamic IP allocation, DHCP relay, server configuration, and static leases based on MAC with wildcard support. Quality of Service is implemented through Smart Queue Management (SQM), allowing traffic prioritization by source, destination, service, protocol, or port.

Wireless traffic optimization includes WMM and 802.11e support. VLAN functionality enables both port-based and tag-based separation, improving network segmentation.
