4G Vehicle Tracker
The Teltonika FTC927 is a 4G LTE Cat 1 vehicle GPS tracker built around enhanced GNSS positioning and dead reckoning for fleet telematics, driver safety, logistics, and delivery services. It combines GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO, and BEIDOU support with 135 tracking and acquisition channels, giving the device a broad satellite base for location tracking. Position accuracy is specified at under 1.8 m CEP, with hot start in under one second and warm start in under 25 seconds. Dead reckoning helps maintain the recorded track when GPS is unavailable, including in tunnels, urban canyons, remote areas, and underground parking lots, extending position continuity beyond locations where satellite reception remains available.
For mobile communication, the tracker supports LTE Cat 1 and GSM/GPRS, with regional variants covering different LTE FDD band sets. LTE Cat 1 data transfer reaches up to 10 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload, while SMS in TEXT and PDU formats and TCP network communication are supported for data exchange. Bluetooth 5.4 LE adds wireless connectivity for external EYE beacons and sensors. These peripherals can be used to monitor temperature, humidity, magnet detection, and movement, broadening the types of data that can be associated with a vehicle or transported asset. Internal high-gain GNSS and cellular antennas keep both positioning and cellular connectivity integrated within the compact tracker housing.
Power and Control
FTC927 includes one digital input, one digital output, and one analog input for integration with vehicle signals and connected equipment. Ignition can be detected through Digital Input 1, the accelerometer, or external power voltage, giving the device multiple methods for identifying vehicle activity. Its sensor set combines an accelerometer and gyroscope, supporting scenarios such as Eco Driving, Excessive Idling Detection, Crash Detection, Trip, Odometer, Towing Detection, geofencing, Fall Down Detection, Static Navigation, and Ignition On Counter. The tracker also supports Over Speeding Detection, Unplug Detection, Network Jamming Detection, Private/Business Mode, and custom scenarios. USB 2.0 USB Type-C, two status LEDs, Nano-SIM support, and 128 MB of internal flash memory complete the interfaces.
The device accepts a 10-30 V input and includes a 170 mAh Li-Ion backup battery. Online sleep, Deep sleep, and Power off sleep modes help extend autonomous operation and reduce vehicle battery drainage when full activity is unnecessary. Configuration and firmware updates are supported through FOTA WEB and Teltonika Configuration Tool (TCT), while SMS and GPRS commands provide configuration, DOUT control, and debugging. Time synchronization is available through GNSS, NITZ, and NTP. The 93 x 43 x 12.5 mm enclosure weighs 65 g and operates from -30 °C to +85 °C, with humidity of 65 ± 20% non-condensing. Battery charging is supported from 0 °C to +45 °C, while discharge is specified from -20 °C to +60 °C.
