Advanced Fleet Tracker
The FMB640 is a professional GNSS/GSM terminal designed for demanding fleet and transport applications where one device needs to support several tracking and data collection tasks. It is suitable for international logistics, refrigerated transport, agriculture, construction and mining, heavy-duty transport, and public safety services. By combining GNSS positioning with GSM/GPRS communication, the device supports real-time fleet visibility while also enabling data exchange through SMS and GPRS-based commands. The positioning system supports GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO, BEIDOU, SBAS, QZSS, and DGPS, helping the terminal obtain location information across different operating conditions. Its stated position and velocity accuracy support precise vehicle movement monitoring, while fast hot, warm, and cold start performance helps restore positioning after different restart scenarios.
External high-gain GNSS and GSM antenna connections are used to support installation in vehicles where antenna placement is important. The device operates from a 10–30 V DC power supply with overvoltage and reverse polarity protection, helping protect the terminal in vehicle electrical systems. An internal backup battery allows the unit to continue working without an external power source. Sleep modes such as GPS Sleep, Online Deep Sleep, and Deep Sleep help reduce power consumption when full operation is not required. Dual SIM support is included to reduce roaming costs in fleets operating across regions or countries.
CAN And Tachograph Data
The FMB640 is built for complex vehicle data integration, especially in professional transport environments where tracking alone is not enough. It supports CAN data reading from vehicles and specialized transport, including FMS CAN data over J1939 and fuel CAN data over J1708. K-Line support enables tachograph live data, while remote tachograph file download and DDD download functions make the device suitable for fleets that need access to tachograph-related information without relying only on manual retrieval. The terminal includes a wide range of interfaces for connecting external equipment: digital inputs and outputs, analog inputs, 1-Wire, two RS232 ports, RS485, CAN J1939, J1708, K-Line, Mini-USB, status LEDs, dual SIM slots, internal flash memory, and Micro SD card support up to 32 GB.
RS232 and RS485 interfaces allow integration with third-party devices and support modes such as NMEA, LLS, TCP ASCII/Binary, logging, and buffered communication, with additional RS232 options for equipment such as RFID, Garmin FMI, tachograph, fuel sensor, satellite backup, and carrier freezer integrations. Fuel monitoring can be implemented through analog LLS, digital LLS over RS232 or RS485, LV-CAN200, ALL-CAN300, CAN-CONTROL, CAN FMS, and ultrasonic level sensor options. The 1-Wire interface supports temperature monitoring and RFID/iButton identification, while supported peripherals include RFID devices, iButton tags, 1-Wire temperature devices, and a Continental tire pressure measurement sensor. Built-in scenarios cover driving behavior, speeding, idling, towing, crash detection, immobilizer functions, geofencing, trip detection, odometer, fuel counter, offline tracking, voice calls, and jamming detection.
