Teltonika Tacho Cable

TACHO CABLE is a dedicated cable for connecting compatible telematics equipment to a vehicle tachograph. It is designed to simplify tachograph integration and support remote access to tachograph files and live data. This makes it suitable for installations where tachograph information needs to be collected without relying only on manual access to the vehicle. The cable uses a 20-pin connection and provides dedicated lines for different tachograph data paths. The D8 K-Line connection is assigned to the brown connector for K-Line live tachograph data, while C5 CAN2 H and C7 CAN2 L are assigned to the red connector for tachograph CAN data and DDD download. By separating these connections through defined connectors, the cable helps installers connect the required tachograph signals in a more organized way.

TACHO CABLE supports CAN J1939 and K-Line protocols, allowing it to work with tachograph data interfaces that use these communication methods. Support for both tachograph CAN data and K-Line live data makes the cable suitable for applications where remote file access and live information are required from the tachograph. The cable is compatible with leading tachographs and is intended for connection through the rear socket. This tamper-proof rear socket connection helps keep the installation protected from casual access while maintaining the required data connection for telematics use. With a 0.9-meter cable length, it provides enough reach for practical installation around the tachograph area without adding unnecessary excess cable.
