Teltonika FMM880

The Teltonika FMM880 is a compact, water-resistant 4G LTE Cat M1 tracker engineered for fast battery-mounted installation and reliable location accuracy in vehicle applications. Its IP65-rated enclosure and slim profile are designed specifically for under-bonnet and exposed installations, so the unit tolerates moisture and dust common in automotive use. Tracking accuracy is improved by a standalone dual-band GNSS receiver (L1 + L5) and a high-gain internal GNSS antenna. The device achieves position accuracy < 1.8 m CEP, very fast hot starts (< 1 s) and excellent sensitivity down to –165 dBm, which helps maintain lock in urban canyons or partial-coverage scenarios. The tracker uses a Quectel BG95-M3 cellular module offering LTE Cat M1 and NB-IoT connectivity with fallback to GSM/GPRS where needed; Cat M1 data rates are up to 588 kbps downlink / 1,119 kbps uplink, ensuring timely telemetry updates without heavy power draw. Built-in accelerometer data enables crash and motion scenarios, while internal antennas and the absence of external cabling simplify installation and reduce vulnerability to tampering.

The FMM880 is designed to deliver reliable operation while maintaining low power consumption and broad installation flexibility. It functions on a 10–30 V DC supply, allowing direct connection to a vehicle battery, and includes a 170 mAh Li-Ion backup battery that keeps the device active if the primary power source is disconnected. The tracker supports Bluetooth LE, enabling wireless pairing with BLE sensors, beacons, and additional monitoring accessories without extra wiring. Its internal high-gain GNSS and cellular antennas help simplify installation and improve signal reliability in most vehicle environments. Device setup, diagnostics, and firmware updates can be performed through Teltonika Configurator via USB or Bluetooth, as well as through FOTA Web for remote management. Multiple sleep modes, including GPS Sleep, Online Deep Sleep, Deep Sleep, and Ultra Deep Sleep, reduce power draw during inactivity. FMM880 is perfectly suited for courier vehicles, rental fleets, insurance telematics and other use cases that demand quick mounting, durable protection and consistently precise positioning.
