The RG-ES200 Series consists of smart cloud managed Layer 2 switches designed for SMB access networks. The series includes multiple Gigabit Ethernet models with different port counts, uplink options, and PoE capabilities, making it easy to select a switch that matches the requirements of each deployment. Selected models support PoE and PoE+, allowing compatible devices to receive both power and data through a single Ethernet cable. Depending on the chosen model, PoE budgets are available for everything from small edge installations to larger deployments with numerous powered devices, helping simplify network infrastructure while reducing the need for separate power connections.

The product family also includes models equipped with Gigabit SFP or Combo SFP uplinks, providing additional flexibility where fiber connectivity is required. Individual port reboot allows administrators to remotely restart a connected device without affecting the remaining network. Flexible Extend Mode supports transmission distances of up to 250 meters in compatible deployments, making the series well suited for surveillance installations where cameras may be located farther from the switch than in typical office environments.

Cloud management extends administration beyond the local network through Ruijie Cloud. Zero-touch provisioning simplifies initial deployment, while VLAN configuration from the mobile application, remote monitoring, switch statistics, and maintenance functions reduce the need for on-site administration. Automatic loop prevention helps maintain service continuity by detecting network loops and temporarily disabling the affected port to restore normal operation. The switches also support practical deployment with hot-swappable network cabling and are designed for dependable long-term use in business environments.
