The MikroTik netPower Lite 8P is a compact yet highly capable PoE switch designed to deliver efficient power distribution and reliable network connectivity in a wide range of professional setups. It features 8 Gigabit Ethernet ports, each supporting PoE-out under the 802.3af/at standards, making it suitable for powering IP cameras, access points, VoIP devices and other PoE-compatible equipment directly from the switch. Alongside Ethernet ports, the unit also includes two SFP+ ports that support 10-gigabit fiber uplinks, allowing integration into larger network infrastructures or high-bandwidth backbones. The netPower Lite 8P is built around a reliable switching chipset and operates without active cooling, ensuring silent. A built-in smart battery charger (0.2–1.6 A, 20–31.7 V) provides compatibility with flooded, AGM, and gel-based lead-acid batteries, as well as LiFePO₄ packs equipped with a proper BMS. This allows the switch to function not only as a networking device but also as a dependable part of a distributed power infrastructure. The charger intelligently manages voltage levels and charging currents to preserve battery health and maintain long-term reliability. Additionally, the device includes an integrated UPS switchover system to keep connected PoE equipment running even if the primary power source fails. This guarantees continuity for security cameras, wireless devices, and remote access points. With a maximum device power draw of up to 181 W and a 120 W total PoE-Out budget with automatic priority, the switch ensures consistent distribution of power across connected loads while safeguarding stability in demanding deployment scenarios.

Designed for outdoor and remote installations, the netPower Lite 8P offers a rugged enclosure and versatile mounting options suitable for walls, poles, and cabinet environments. An IP55 protection rating helps safeguard the device from dust and water jets, supporting long-term durability in external environments. To further enhance dependability, the switch is equipped with an integrated temperature sensor that plays a critical role in battery and system protection. It automatically adjusts voltage levels when charging lead-acid batteries and blocks the charging process whenever temperatures exceed safe thresholds. This intelligent thermal regulation helps extend battery lifespan and prevents damage during extreme weather conditions. The enclosure is engineered to support long-term outdoor use while safeguarding the internal electronics against moisture and environmental stress.
