The Ubiquiti UniFi Switch Ultra 60W (USW-Ultra-60W) is a compact yet highly capable Layer 2 switch designed for modern, space-constrained network environments. With 8 Gigabit Ethernet RJ45 ports, it provides reliable wired connectivity for offices, retail spaces, and smart home installations. The switch features seven PoE+ ports for powering compatible devices such as access points, IP cameras, and VoIP phones, along with one PoE++ input port that enables flexible power delivery to the switch itself. Designed with adaptability in mind, the USW-Ultra-60W supports multiple power input methods, including DC input, PoE++, and an external AC/DC adapter (included). It operates within a supported voltage range of 50–57V DC/PoE, allowing seamless integration into existing UniFi infrastructures.

Its compact form factor supports desktop, wall, and magnetic mounting, making it easy to deploy in cabinets, under desks, or directly on metal surfaces. The durable polycarbonate enclosure keeps the device lightweight at just 320 g, while still offering long-term reliability. Built for real-world conditions, the switch supports extended ambient operating temperatures, reaching -30 to 60°C with PoE++ input and -20 to 45°C when powered by a 60W AC adapter. Note: PoE input is supported for switch operation, but PoE+/PoE++ input or AC power is required for PoE output, ensuring predictable and stable power behavior across deployments.

The USW-Ultra-60W is engineered with a rich set of Layer 2 features commonly found in enterprise-class switches. The total PoE budget varies depending on the power source: 42W with PoE++ input, 16W with PoE+ input, 42W with a 60W PoE adapter, 52W with a 60W AC adapter, and up to an impressive 202W when powered by a 210W AC adapter. This modular approach allows installers to scale power capacity without replacing the switch.

Despite its capabilities, the switch remains energy-efficient. Maximum power consumption excluding PoE output is just 9W with PoE input or 8W with adapter input, while maximum consumption including PoE output reaches 210W when using a 210W AC adapter.
