Teltonika TSW101 Automotive PoE+ Switch

The Teltonika TSW101 is an automotive PoE+ switch designed for vehicles and mobile systems requiring both high performance and reliable connectivity. Equipped with five Gigabit Ethernet ports supporting speeds of 10/100/1000 Mbps, the device ensures fast and stable data transfer for in-vehicle networks. Four ports include PoE+ support, compliant with IEEE 802.3af and 802.3at standards, delivering up to 30 W per port to power devices such as IP cameras, access points, or sensors directly over Ethernet. The switch provides a total PoE budget of 60 W, simplifying cabling and reducing the need for additional power supplies. The switch delivers reliable performance thanks to its 10 Gbps switching capacity without data blocking, a 128 KB buffer for smooth packet handling, and support for jumbo frames up to 9216 bytes, which allows it to manage large amounts of network traffic efficiently. With a MAC address table of 2000 entries, the TSW101 ensures smooth operation even under heavy network load.

Powering the TSW101 is efficient and flexible, making it suitable for various vehicle configurations. It operates within a wide input voltage range of 9–30 V DC, which aligns with standard automotive power systems, including 12 V passenger cars and 24 V commercial vehicles. The switch features a robust 2-pin industrial-grade power socket, providing stable and secure connections even in demanding environments. To simplify deployment, auto MDI/MDIX support on all Ethernet ports eliminates compatibility issues with crossover or straight-through cables. Diagnostics are straightforward thanks to one power LED and ten Ethernet status LEDs, offering instant visual feedback about network status and activity. A grounding screw is included to prevent electrical interference, further increasing system reliability. For installation, the TSW101 supports versatile mounting options, including DIN-rail, wall mounting, or flat surfaces using an optional kit. This flexibility allows it to be seamlessly integrated into diverse automotive or industrial setups.

The Teltonika TSW101 is engineered with durability and practical design in mind, making it well suited for long-term operation in mobile and industrial environments.
