The UniFi Switch Hi-Capacity Aggregation (USW-Pro-Aggregation) is a fully managed Layer 3 aggregation switch engineered for enterprise and data-center environments that demand exceptional throughput and port density. It features a powerful combination of 28 × 10G SFP+ ports and 4 × 25G SFP28 ports, allowing network architects to consolidate access switches, servers, and high-performance uplinks into a single aggregation layer. This port layout supports flexible speed negotiation, making it suitable for mixed-generation network infrastructures.

With a switching capacity of 760 Gbps, non-blocking throughput of 380 Gbps, and a forwarding rate of 565 Mpps, the switch is designed to handle massive east-west and north-south traffic flows without introducing latency or congestion. These capabilities make it ideal as a backbone switch in large campuses, enterprise networks, or service provider environments where predictable performance is critical. Support for up to 1,000 VLANs, a MAC address table of 32,000 entries, and a 4 MB packet buffer ensures scalability as the network grows. QoS with DSCP support allows prioritization of latency-sensitive traffic such as voice and video. For professional audiovisual deployments, the switch offers Pro AV profiles, including support for technologies such as Dante, Q-SYS, NDI, SDVoE, Shure, AES67, and Crestron.

These profiles simplify configuration and ensure consistent performance for demanding real-time media applications. Advanced multicast handling is provided through IGMP Snooping, IGMP Querier, and Fast Leave, ensuring efficient distribution of multicast streams. Security and traffic control are reinforced with 802.1X authentication, MAC- and IP-based ACLs, device isolation, DHCP snooping, storm control, and rate limiting for broadcast and multicast traffic. The switch supports DC power backup via USP RPS, adding redundancy for enhanced uptime in case of primary power failure.

It uses an internal AC/DC power supply with universal input and a maximum power consumption of 100 W. Thermal efficiency is carefully engineered, with heat dissipation of 341 BTU/hr, supporting stable operation across a wide range of environmental conditions.
