Ubiquiti Long-Range Ethernet Repeater

The Ubiquiti Long-Range Ethernet Repeater (UACC-LRE) is designed to extend PoE-powered Ethernet connections far beyond standard limitations. While traditional Ethernet runs are limited to 100 meters, this repeater allows networks to reach distances of up to 1 kilometer when deployed in 100-meter increments. It is an ideal solution for connecting remote IP cameras, access points, sensors, or other PoE-powered devices across large outdoor areas, industrial sites, campuses, parking facilities, or perimeter installations.

The device features two Gigabit Ethernet ports: one for PoE or PoE+ input and one for passthrough PoE output, ensuring both data and power continue seamlessly to downstream devices. With a total non-blocking throughput of 2 Gbps and a switching capacity of 4 Gbps, the repeater maintains stable, full-speed Gigabit performance even over extended distances. Its extremely low power consumption of just 1.5 W (excluding PoE output) ensures efficient operation without adding unnecessary load to the power source. Designed for professional deployments, the UACC-LRE is best powered by UniFi switches to ensure full compatibility with its 2-pair PoE mode.

The UACC-LRE is engineered for reliable operation in the most demanding environments, making it suitable for permanent outdoor and industrial installations. Its rugged enclosure is made from UV-stabilized polycarbonate, protecting internal components from prolonged sun exposure, moisture, and mechanical stress. With an IPX5 weather resistance rating, the repeater is well protected against rain, splashing water, and harsh weather conditions. To ensure maximum network resilience, the device incorporates advanced surge and lightning protection rated above 10 kA, along with high-level ESD and EMP protection up to ±30 kV.

These safeguards help prevent damage from electrical surges, static discharge, and nearby lightning strikes, which is critical for long outdoor cable runs. The repeater operates reliably in extreme temperatures ranging from –40 to 80°C, making it suitable for cold climates, hot industrial zones, and exposed installations. Stainless steel mounting hardware is included for secure and durable mounting on poles, walls, or infrastructure elements. Clear LED indicators provide instant visual feedback on power status, Ethernet speed, and PoE passthrough activity, simplifying installation and maintenance in the field.
