Recessed Mount A81

The Milesight MS-A81 is a recessed mounting bracket designed for compatible Milesight Weather-proof Mini Dome cameras with the cable-out housing version. It allows the camera to be installed partly inside a ceiling, reducing the amount of equipment visible below the mounting surface and creating a more discreet, integrated surveillance installation. This format is particularly suitable for indoor locations where a low-profile appearance is preferred and where the ceiling structure provides sufficient space for the recessed assembly.

The bracket measures Ø168.7 × 91.3 mm and weighs 450 g, providing a stable mounting interface without adding unnecessary bulk around the visible camera dome. By concealing part of the camera body and its mounting components above the ceiling line, the MS-A81 creates a cleaner transition between the device and the surrounding surface. The recessed design can also help keep the installation hardware less accessible than with standard surface mounting.
