The Milesight MS-C5375-PC is a 5 MP mini dome network camera designed for detailed monitoring in a compact format. Its 1/2.8-inch progressive scan CMOS sensor delivers images up to 2592 × 1944, while the fixed 2.8 mm lens provides a broad field of view suited to entrances, circulation areas, retail spaces, and other scenes where wide coverage is important. The lens combines a 105° horizontal, 131° diagonal, and 78° vertical view, helping the camera observe a large area without requiring a long focal length. A three-axis mechanical design supports fast adjustment of the viewing angle during installation, allowing the camera to be aligned accurately after mounting.

The camera is built to maintain usable image detail across changing lighting conditions. It records colour images at illumination levels down to 0.008 lux at F1.6 and switches to black-and-white operation with infrared illumination when required. Integrated IR supports visibility at distances up to 25 metres, while selectable day, night, automatic, custom, and scheduled modes allow operation to match the site and time of day. A 120 dB Super WDR function helps balance bright and dark areas within the same scene, and the available shutter range supports adaptation to different motion and lighting conditions. Brightness, contrast, saturation, and sharpness controls provide additional image adjustment for the monitored environment.

The MS-C5375-PC supports multiple video streams so recording, live viewing, and remote access can be configured for different bandwidth and image-quality requirements. At full 2592 × 1944 resolution, the primary stream reaches 30 fps in 60 Hz environments or 25 fps in 50 Hz environments. Lower resolutions support higher frame rates, including up to 60 fps at 1920 × 1080 under 60 Hz operation and up to 50 fps under 50 Hz operation. Secondary and tertiary streams provide additional resolution and frame-rate combinations for simultaneous use by recorders, workstations, mobile devices, or other connected systems without relying on a single stream profile.

Efficient compression options include H.265+, H.265, H.264+, H.264, and MJPEG, giving administrators flexibility when balancing image quality, storage use, and network load. The adjustable 16 Kbps to 16 Mbps video bit rate supports both constant and variable bit-rate operation. Up to eight regions of interest can receive tailored encoding attention, while privacy controls support as many as 24 masked areas and four mosaic areas. The camera connects through a 10/100 Mbps RJ45 Ethernet port and can store video on NAS systems using NFS or SMB/CIFS, with ANR support for continuity. Local recording is also available through microSD, SDHC, or SDXC cards with capacities up to 256 GB.

Built-in intelligent analytics help the camera identify activity and generate more focused monitoring events. Supported functions include region entrance and exit detection, advanced motion detection, tamper detection, line crossing, loitering, and detection of objects that are left behind or removed. Face detection can identify and capture faces while providing real-time snapshots. People counting records the number of people entering or leaving and supports regional counting across as many as four detection areas. Additional processing tools include heat mapping, backlight and highlight compensation, two-dimensional and three-dimensional noise reduction, defog, automatic white balance, electronic image stabilisation, anti-flicker, corridor mode, deblur, watermarking, gain control, and IP address filtering.

Event handling can respond to motion, network disconnection, audio alarms, and other configured triggers. Available actions include FTP or SMTP upload, recording to the SD card, SIP phone notification, and HTTP notification. The built-in microphone captures sound at the camera, with G.711, AAC, G.722, and G.726 compression options, although two-way audio is not supported. Integration is supported through ONVIF Profiles G, Q, S, and T, as well as an API, SIP, and Voice and Video over IP. The metal housing carries IK10 vandal resistance and weather protection up to IP67. PoE based on IEEE 802.3af simplifies power delivery, while operation from -40 °C to 60 °C supports demanding indoor and outdoor installations.
