5MP Weather-proof Mini Dome Camera 2.8mm

The MS-C5375-PB is a 5MP weather-resistant mini dome network camera designed for compact, fixed-position surveillance applications. Its 1/2.8-inch progressive scan CMOS sensor delivers video at up to 2592 × 1944, providing detailed coverage for scenes where clear recognition and later review are important. Two fixed-lens versions are available: 2.8 mm for a wider view and 4 mm for a narrower perspective. The 2.8 mm model covers up to 113° horizontally, depending on aperture, while the 4 mm version provides an 86° horizontal field of view. This allows the same camera platform to be selected for broader area coverage or more focused monitoring needs.

The primary stream records at up to 20 fps at full 5MP resolution and up to 30 fps at lower supported resolutions, helping installers balance image detail with motion smoothness. Secondary and tertiary streams provide additional viewing options for live monitoring, remote access, or systems that do not require the main recording resolution. H.265+, H.265, H.264+, H.264, and MJPEG compression support compatibility with different video platforms and storage plans. Adjustable CBR or VBR bit rate control helps match video delivery to available bandwidth. Brightness, contrast, saturation, and sharpness can be tuned after installation, while up to eight ROI areas and eight privacy masks support focused encoding and controlled visibility.

Low-light performance helps the camera maintain useful images as illumination changes throughout the monitored period. The MS-C5375-PB supports color imaging down to 0.005 Lux at F1.2 and 0.008 Lux at F1.6 or F2.0. When available light is no longer sufficient, integrated infrared illumination enables black-and-white monitoring in complete darkness, with an IR range of up to 25 m. Day, night, automatic, customized, and scheduled modes allow the camera to change its imaging behaviour according to site conditions or operating hours. This flexibility is useful where lighting varies during the day or where different settings are preferred after closing time or during unattended operation.

A 120 dB Super WDR function improves visibility in scenes containing both bright and shaded areas, helping retain useful detail where strong contrast would otherwise obscure parts of the image. Additional processing functions include backlight and highlight compensation, 2D and 3D noise reduction, Defog, automatic white balance, electronic image stabilization, automatic gain control, anti-flicker, Corridor Mode, Deblur, and Watermark. These functions give installers practical options for refining image presentation according to the monitored environment and changing scene conditions. The camera also maintains a signal-to-noise ratio above 55 dB, supporting cleaner image output, while IP address filtering provides an additional control point for managing network access.

Video content analysis enables the camera to react to defined activity rather than operating only as a continuous recorder. Supported functions include region entrance and exit, advanced motion detection, tamper detection, line crossing, loitering, human detection, people counting, object left, and object removed. These tools help operators focus on events that match specific monitoring rules and reduce the need to review all recorded footage manually. Event triggers also include network disconnection and audio alarms. In response, the camera can upload files by FTP or SMTP, record to an SD card, initiate a SIP phone action, or send an HTTP notification, allowing alerts and evidence to be handled through different operational workflows.

The camera connects through a 10/100M RJ45 Ethernet port and is powered by IEEE 802.3af PoE, simplifying installation by carrying network data and power over one cable. A built-in microphone captures audio from the monitored area, while SIP and Voice-over-IP support extend integration options. Local recording is available on microSD, SDHC, or SDXC cards up to 256 GB, and NAS storage is supported through NFS or SMB/CIFS with ANR. ONVIF Profiles G, Q, S, and T, together with API support, assist integration with compatible surveillance platforms. The IK10-rated metal housing, IP67 protection, and -40 °C to 60 °C operating range support demanding indoor and outdoor installations.
