The wAP LR8 Kit is powered by the QCA9531 CPU with a core frequency of 650 MHz and includes 64 MB of RAM along with 16 MB of FLASH storage. The architecture is MIPSBE, ensuring a stable and reliable performance under RouterOS, an advanced operating system with a license level 4.The device comes with RouterOS preinstalled and licensed, requiring no separate purchase for operation. MikroTik provides free software updates for the life of the product or a minimum of five years from the date of purchase, ensuring that the device remains up to date with the latest features and security enhancements.

This out-of-the-box solution comes with a pre-installed UDP packet forwarder that can connect to any public or private LoRa® servers, making it a plug-and-play solution for rapid deployment. The integrated 2.4 GHz WLAN interface provides up to 300 Mbit/s data rate under the 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi standards and includes a dual-chain setup with a 2 dBi internal antenna.Users have the flexibility to enhance the range and signal quality up to 15 km in rural environment and up to 2 km in urban environment by attaching an MikroTik LoRa® 6.5 dBi external antenna. For extended LoRa® network coverage, the addition of the MikroTik Antenna kit for LoRa® is recommended.
