The radio module of the UniFi AP AC PRO wireless access point has a well-designed antenna unit that provides a gain of up to 3 dbi (ceiling mounting provides a circular radiation pattern, in the case of wall mounting there will be some sector effect in the "forward" direction). The power of the radio part is up to 20 dbi (depends on the selected region). Traditionally, the access points can be configured both through the UniFi mobile app and in the web interface of the UniFi Controller management software platform. An offline mode of use is available if required.
In terms of technical characteristics, the access point is noticeably different from other models. It uses MIMO 3x3 technology, which already allows you to work at speeds of up to 450 Mbps in the 2.4 GHz band and up to 1300 Mbps at 5 GHz. It is worth noting that the model works in two bands simultaneously, which allows support not only for modern devices, but also for models of earlier generations.
- WiFi 5 (3x3 MIMO)
- 250+ connected devices
- 140 m² (1,500 ft²) coverage
- Powered using PoE+
The Wi-Fi access point differs from the rest of the line and network interface - it has two gigabit Ethernet ports, as well as one USB connector. It should be noted that the main port is used both for data exchange and for powering the device according to 802.3af/at PoE standard. The additional connector, is used exclusively for packet transmission and serves to connect other access points.
Designed for Optimal RF Performance
Advanced RF performance and configuration features include spectral analysis, airtime fairness, and band steering. Use the RF map to monitor and analyze radio frequencies for optimal AP placement, configuration, and troubleshooting.
Versatile Design
The UniFi AC Pro AP is a gigabit, 802.3af-powered access point suitable for indoor or outdoor use.
