Ajax MotionCam Outdoor PhOD

The MotionCam Outdoor (PhOD) is a wireless motion detector that supports photo verification, as well as Photo on Demand and Photo by Script. The maximum detection range of the MotionCam Outdoor (PhOD) motion sensor is adjustable up to 15 meters. Using two built-in infrared sensors, the device captures moving objects with a temperature close to the temperature of the human body. When the armed sensor detects motion, it sends an alarm signal to the security control panel. When the MotionCam Outdoor (PhOD) detects motion, the built-in camera takes a series of pictures.

Photo verification of motion sensor alarms allows you to assess the situation at the guarded facility using the built-in camera, which can take from 1 to 5 pictures with a resolution of 320 × 176, as well as up to 3 pictures with a resolution of 640 × 352 pixels. The number of photos and their resolution is set individually. Photo verification allows you to receive visual confirmation of alarms by MotionCam Outdoor (PhOD) and other Ajax devices and request a photo from the sensor at any time in order to check the situation at the facility or find out the cause of the alarm.

Photo on Demand allows the motion sensor users to take pictures with built-in photo-verified motion sensor cameras. The function makes it possible to check the situation at the facility, monitor the state of the house, etc. Depending on the settings, a photo can be taken at any time or when the sensors with photo verification are in armed mode. Photos upon request are received only by users of the system, they are not sent to the control panel of the security company.

MotionCam Outdoor (PhOD) uses the SmartDetect algorithm. Thanks to this algorithm, the device instantly analyzes the thermal diagram read by the sensor: the intensity of infrared radiation, the speed of movement, the size of the thermal spot, the time spent in the detection zone, and other parameters. The sensor ignores animals up to 80 cm tall when properly installed and configured.

The MotionCam Outdoor (PhOD) outdoor sensor works as part of the Ajax security system. Communication with the control panel is carried out via two secure radio protocols: Jeweller for alarm and event transmission, and Wings protocol for photo transmission. The communication range with the control panel in the absence of obstacles is maintained at a distance of up to 1700 meters. MotionCam Outdoor (PhOD) detects attempts to block the view of the device thanks to the masking detection system.
