The JCW401 is a compact WiFi antenna designed for compatible equipment operating in the 2.4 GHz band. It covers frequencies from 2400 to 2483.5 MHz, spanning an 83.5 MHz bandwidth for wireless communication within the stated range. Linear polarization, 2 dBi gain, and 50-ohm impedance define its main electrical characteristics and allow it to connect directly to suitable WiFi devices. The antenna can be supplied with an RP-SMA male connector or another connector type, depending on the interface required by the target equipment. Both straight and right-angle versions are shown, giving installers a choice of orientation when available space or connector placement affects how the antenna can be positioned.
Its short housing keeps the installation unobtrusive and avoids the need for a separate cable or remote mounting point. The straight version is approximately 53.7 mm long, while the right-angle configuration is approximately 50.2 mm high and extends about 18.6 mm from the connector, allowing selection according to the available clearance around the device. The JCW401 is specified for operation from -40 °C to +85 °C, supporting use across a broad range of temperature conditions. It is also rated to withstand vibration from 10 to 55 Hz at an amplitude of 1.5 mm for two hours, which is relevant for equipment exposed to movement or mechanical stress. RoHS compliance confirms that the antenna meets the stated environmental requirements.
