The Teltonika RUT241 is a compact industrial cellular router designed for reliable connectivity in IoT, M2M, industrial automation, retail, utility, and smart city applications. With 4G LTE Cat 4 support, the router delivers download speeds of up to 150 Mbps and upload speeds of up to 50 Mbps, ensuring stable remote communication and efficient data transfer. To maintain connectivity in varying coverage conditions, the device also supports automatic fallback to 3G and 2G networks. The router features a physical 2FF SIM slot and advanced mobile connectivity management functions suitable for professional deployments.

Supported features include automatic switching scenarios based on weak signal, roaming, or connection failure, as well as operator allow and block lists, automatic APN configuration, multiple PDN support, and mobile WAN passthrough. These capabilities help optimise network stability and simplify deployment across different operators and regions. For wireless networking, the RUT241 supports Wi-Fi 4 in both Access Point and Station modes. The router can handle up to 50 simultaneous wireless connections and includes features such as wireless mesh, fast roaming, hotspot functionality, and MAC-based access control. Wireless security is strengthened with WPA2 and WPA3 encryption, enterprise authentication support, and Protected Management Frames. The Teltonika RUT241 is designed for professional networking environments where reliability, security, and remote management are essential. The router includes one WAN and one LAN Fast Ethernet port with auto MDI/MDIX support for flexible integration into industrial and enterprise infrastructures. Running on RutOS, an OpenWrt-based operating system, the device supports advanced routing protocols including BGP, OSPF v2, RIP, EIGRP, and policy-based routing. To ensure uninterrupted operation, the RUT241 features automatic WAN failover, load balancing, and multiple backup options including mobile, wired, Wi-Fi WAN, and VRRP connectivity. Connection monitoring tools such as Ping Reboot, Wget Reboot, and link inspection help maintain network uptime in critical applications.

Real-time traffic monitoring, wireless signal analysis, and QoS prioritisation provide additional network visibility and optimisation capabilities. Security features are tailored for industrial deployments. The router supports configurable firewall rules, NAT, VLAN separation, and protection against SYN flood attacks, SSH attacks, and port scans. The device operates in temperatures from -40 °C to 75 °C and supports humidity levels from 10% to 90% non-condensing, making it suitable for industrial automation, transportation, energy, and outdoor networking applications. The router includes a 4-pin industrial power connector supporting 9 - 30 VDC input voltage with reverse polarity and surge protection. Passive PoE over spare pairs is also supported through the LAN port for flexible installation.
