The JCB602 is a combined GPS and GSM antenna that integrates satellite positioning and cellular communication functions in one compact housing. The GPS element operates at 1575.42 MHz with right-hand circular polarization and 2 dBic gain at zenith. Its built-in low-noise amplifier provides 28 ± 2 dB gain while maintaining a noise figure below 1.5 dB, helping strengthen the received positioning signal before it reaches the connected device. The active GPS section operates from a 2.2–5 V DC supply and consumes less than 15 mA. The GSM element covers the 824–960 MHz and 1710–2170 MHz ranges with linear polarization and 2.0 dBi gain, allowing one antenna assembly to support both navigation and cellular connectivity.
Separate RG174 cables provide dedicated connections for the GPS and GSM sections, with SMA, MCX, FAKRA, or other connector options available to suit the target equipment. The antenna uses screw mounting for secure installation through a suitable panel or enclosure surface. Its ABS radome protects the internal antenna elements, while the cast-aluminium base provides a solid mounting structure. The housing measures approximately 68 mm in diameter and 46.3 mm in height, keeping the installed profile compact. It is designed for operation from -40 °C to +85 °C and at relative humidity levels up to 95%. IP67 protection applies to the enclosure except at the cable outlet, while the specified vibration resistance supports use in environments exposed to mechanical movement. RoHS compliance confirms conformity with the stated environmental requirement.
