The Teltonika RUT901 is a professional industrial cellular router designed to deliver reliable connectivity for IoT, M2M, industrial automation, smart city, retail, and energy applications. Combining 4G LTE Cat 4 technology with Wi-Fi and Ethernet connectivity, the router supports download speeds of up to 150 Mbps and upload speeds of up to 50 Mbps for stable remote communication and efficient data transfer. Automatic fallback to 3G and 2G networks ensures uninterrupted connectivity in locations with unstable mobile coverage. The router features dual SIM functionality with automatic failover and backup WAN support, helping maintain continuous network operation without manual intervention. Automatic switching scenarios can be configured based on signal strength, roaming status, data limits, connection failure, or unavailable networks.

Additional mobile networking functions include operator allow and block lists, multiple PDN support, automatic APN configuration, SIM PIN management, and mobile WAN passthrough. SIM idle protection also helps prevent SIM cards from being blocked during long-term deployments. For wireless networking, the RUT901 supports Wi-Fi 4 in both Access Point and Station modes with up to 100 simultaneous wireless users. The router includes four Fast Ethernet ports, consisting of one WAN port and three LAN ports with auto MDI/MDIX support for easy integration into industrial and enterprise infrastructures. Running on RutOS, an OpenWrt-based operating system, the device supports advanced routing protocols including BGP, OSPF v2, RIP, EIGRP, and policy-based routing for complex network architectures. To ensure uninterrupted operation, the RUT901 supports automatic WAN failover, load balancing, and multiple backup options including mobile, Wi-Fi WAN, wired connectivity, and VRRP. With an IP30-rated enclosure and mounting options including DIN rail, wall mounting, and flat surface installation, the device is suitable for industrial automation, transportation, utility infrastructure, and remote networking projects. The router is powered through a 4-pin industrial DC connector supporting 9 - 30 VDC input voltage with reverse polarity and surge protection. Passive PoE over spare pairs is also supported through the LAN port, allowing flexible installation in various industrial scenarios.
