The DAP142 is equipped with an integrated DIN rail mounting bracket for efficient installation in standard industrial enclosures or control panels. Support for wall and flat surface mounting is also available via optional accessory kits, which must be purchased separately. The compact dimensions and lightweight design make it a space-efficient and manageable solution, ideal for confined or structured industrial settings. With a wide operating range of –40 °C to +75 °C, the device delivers reliable performance in extreme temperatures. DAP142 is equipped with powerful wireless and wired connectivity to ensure fast, stable, and seamless communication. Supporting Wi‑Fi 4 (IEEE 802.11b/g/n), it enables high-speed wireless performance and includes Mesh networking support for flexible topologies and improved coverage. With Fast Roaming capability, connected devices can switch access points smoothly without interruption, that is perfect for mobile equipment or large-scale deployments. The access point supports up to 50 simultaneous Wi-Fi clients, making it suitable for high-density industrial use. It features two 10/100 Mbps Ethernet ports with auto MDI/MDIX functionality, allowing automatic detection of cable types. Additionally, a DB9 RS-232 serial port supports integration with legacy industrial equipment. Power can be supplied either through the dedicated 3-pin DC connector or via Passive PoE using the RJ45 Ethernet port, offering flexible installation options and simplified cabling.
