The ECS‑Aggregation is built for demanding backbone and aggregation layers in enterprise campus networks. It delivers a non‑blocking throughput of 1.8 Tbps, a switching capacity of 3.6 Tbps, and a forwarding rate of 2.4 billion packets per second, ensuring that large volumes of traffic traverse the network without bottlenecks. The switch features a dense port layout of 25G SFP28 ports combined with 100G QSFP28 ports, making it ideal for aggregating multiple 25G uplinks into high‑capacity 100G backbone connections. It supports up to 1,000 VLANs, and maintains a large MAC address table of 128,000 entries, allowing rich segmentation and device connectivity across the network. Because of this performance envelope, the ECS‑Aggregation is well suited to serve as the central aggregation node in large campus, data center, or core switching infrastructures where throughput, scalability, and reliability are essential.

ECS‑Aggregation offers flexible connectivity and hardware reliability for critical deployments. The switch includes 48 SFP28 ports capable of 25G speeds and 6 QSFP28 ports capable of 100G operation. These ports allow for aggregation of numerous smaller links into a powerful backbone layer. Hardware redundancy is built in: it supports dual hot‑swappable power modules, enabling 1+1 power redundancy, and hot-swappable fan modules, providing resilience in cooling. The device runs on universal AC input (100–240V) and its maximum power consumption is specified at 340 W, supporting heavy switching loads while maintaining reliability. Manufactured in an SGCC steel enclosure, it measures 442.4 × 43.7 × 496 mm and weighs about 9.9 kg. The robust construction, hot-swap modules, and full rack‑depth compatibility make ECS‑Aggregation a dependable, enterprise‑class solution for backbone switching in high-density environments.

The ECS‑Aggregation is rich in both Layer 2 and Layer 3 capabilities to support modern, segmented networks. On the L2 side, it includes IGMP snooping, STP/RSTP, port isolation, storm control, voice VLAN, port mirroring, LACP, and support for Jumbo frames, among others, enabling flexible, high-performance switching behavior. On the L3 side, it supports DHCP in locally managed networks, DHCP relay, inter-VLAN routing, static routing, and Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) for dynamic route management and efficient traffic exchange across complex network topologies. The switch offers MC‑LAG support to allow link aggregation across multiple chassis, enhancing availability and load balancing in distributed topologies. To assist monitoring and diagnostics, it includes a 1.3″ touchscreen display (LCM) and integrates Etherlighting™ support to help visually identify ports based on link or native VLAN assignments. The supported ambient specifications are –5 °C to 40 °C and 10–95% non‑condensing humidity.
