Detailed description

High-Capacity NVR

The Ubiquiti Network Video Recorder Enterprise (ENVR) is designed to meet the demands of large surveillance deployments that require dependable long-term video archiving. It features a spacious 3U rack-mount chassis that accommodates up to sixteen 2.5-inch or 3.5-inch HDDs or SSDs. This high-capacity design allows organizations to store significant amounts of high-resolution footage without constantly managing retention periods or worrying about storage shortages. The ENVR supports recording for up to 70 cameras in 4K or up to 210 cameras in Full HD. This makes it well suited for large offices, warehouses, logistics hubs, retail environments, manufacturing facilities, campuses or any site where video storage demands are substantial. Flexible RAID configuration support gives the system an added layer of protection by allowing administrators to choose between performance-oriented or redundancy-oriented storage setups. The enclosure is made from SGCC steel, offering strength and durability suitable for long-term rack-mount use. The system provides a maximum power budget for drives of 310 W, supporting multi-drive setups without performance limitations.

High-Speed Connectivity

The ENVR is engineered to manage large volumes of video data efficiently, especially in environments where many high-resolution cameras operate simultaneously. It is equipped with two 10G SFP Plus uplink ports and one 10 GbE RJ45 port. These high-bandwidth interfaces ensure fast and stable data transport between the NVR, surveillance cameras and the wider network infrastructure. The high throughput allows operators can review live feeds, playback recordings and manage analytics without experiencing lag or performance drops. Whether deployed in a single building or part of a distributed surveillance system, the recorder integrates easily into existing high-performance networks. It supports up to 300 Managed Access Hubs, making it highly suitable for organizations that combine video surveillance with access control and identity management. The system works seamlessly with the UniFi Application Suite, including UniFi Protect for video management and UniFi Access for door systems, helping unify workflows under a single platform. Built with a durable aluminum mounting system, the unit remains stable in 19-inch server racks. Its maximum power consumption of 410 W ensures that networking operations remain consistent even when used with fully populated storage configurations.

Enterprise Reliability

The ENVR is designed for continuous operation in professional environments where security systems must remain online at all times. It includes two hot-swappable AC power supplies that allow the system to remain operational even if one power module is removed or fails. This built-in redundancy greatly reduces the risk of downtime and helps ensure constant recording availability. The recorder features a sturdy metal enclosure designed for standard 19-inch racks with a 3U height, making it suitable for server rooms, data centers, or structured IT cabinets. The chassis, made from SGCC steel, provides long-term durability, while the aluminum mounting frame ensures secure rack installation. The ENVR operates reliably within a temperature range of –5 to 40 °C and humidity levels from 5 to 95% without condensation, giving it versatility across various installation conditions. For regulatory compliance and safety, the ENVR carries CE, FCC, and IC certifications, reflecting adherence to international standards. With its combination of resilience, redundancy, and high storage capacity, the ENVR serves as a dependable core system for enterprise-level video surveillance infrastructures.
