Operating directly within your network infrastructure, it delivers powerful local analytics without relying on external cloud processing. Engineered to analyze up to 1,800 smart detection events per hour, the AI Key expands the analytical capacity of connected UniFi cameras, enabling faster response times and more accurate threat identification. By processing events at the edge, it minimizes latency and reduces bandwidth consumption while maintaining enterprise-grade security standards. At its core, the device is powered by an Arm® Cortex®-A78AE v8.2 processor, paired with 16 GB LPDDR5 system memory, delivering high-throughput AI computation optimized for video analytics workloads.

Integrated 256 GB SSD on-board storage ensures fast data access and reliable operation during intensive detection cycles. The unit connects via a GbE RJ45 port, providing stable and secure Ethernet-based management. A built-in 1.3” touchscreen LCM display allows quick status monitoring and system insights directly on the device, while a dedicated factory reset button ensures convenient maintenance. Designed for professional environments, the AI Key supports centralized management over Ethernet and seamlessly integrates into existing UniFi Protect ecosystems, transforming standard video surveillance into an intelligent, predictive security platform.

Built for continuous operation in demanding environments, the AI Key features a durable aluminium alloy enclosure, providing effective thermal dissipation and structural strength. Power is supplied via PoE++ (50–57V supported voltage range), eliminating the need for a separate power adapter and simplifying deployment in structured Ethernet infrastructures.
