The MS-C8175-FPC is a 4K AI motorized mini dome network camera designed for detailed video monitoring in a compact dome format. It uses a 1/2.8″ progressive scan CMOS sensor and delivers a maximum resolution of 3840 × 2160, allowing the camera to capture high-detail images for scenes where visual clarity is important for identification and review. The primary stream supports 4K recording at 30 fps on 60 Hz systems and 25 fps on 50 Hz systems, so moving subjects can be recorded with smooth detail at full resolution. Additional stream options allow lower resolutions to be used for viewing, mobile access, or distribution when full 4K is not required for every viewing task.

The camera supports H.265+, H.265, H.264+, H.264, and MJPEG video compression, giving installers flexibility when matching the camera to different recording platforms, browser views, and storage strategies. Adjustable CBR or VBR bit rate control helps adapt the stream to available bandwidth and recording capacity without changing the camera’s core imaging role. Image settings for brightness, contrast, saturation, and sharpness allow the picture to be tuned to the monitored scene after installation. Up to 8 ROI areas can prioritize selected parts of the image, while privacy masking supports up to 28 areas, including mask and mosaic zones, for restricting visibility where required by privacy, compliance, or site policies.

The motorized 2.7 to 13.5 mm lens allows the viewing angle to be adjusted without manually replacing or repositioning the lens, which is useful during installation and later scene refinement. Its field of view ranges from a wide horizontal 107° view to a narrower 33° view, enabling the same camera to cover a broad area or focus more closely on a selected zone from the same installation point. Auto and manual focus options provide flexibility when the scene changes or when a fixed focus point is preferred. Optional P-Iris control adds automatic or manual iris adjustment for versions where this function is used during lens operation, scene balancing, and exposure tuning.

For low-light operation, the camera supports color capture down to 0.01 Lux at F1.2 and 0.012 Lux at F1.4, while black-and-white operation is available with IR enabled. The integrated IR illumination reaches up to 50 m, supporting night surveillance without depending on external lighting near the camera position. A day, night, automatic, customized, and scheduled mode selection helps adapt image behavior to different site routines instead of using one fixed profile at all times. The 120 dB Super WDR function improves visibility when bright and dark areas appear in the same frame during daily operation, making the camera more practical for entrances, corridors, doorways, or other scenes with uneven lighting.

AI video analytics help the camera move beyond basic recording by detecting defined events in the monitored scene automatically. Supported analysis functions include region entrance, region exiting, advanced motion detection, tamper detection, line crossing, loitering, object left, and object removed. The camera can also detect and capture faces with real-time snapshots, while people counting records the number of people entering or exiting. Up to 4 detection areas can be used for regional people counting, helping separate activity in different parts of the scene. Heat map support adds another way to understand activity patterns over time in monitored spaces and high-traffic areas without relying only on manual review.

For integration, the camera includes one RJ45 10/100M Ethernet port, a built-in microphone, network storage support through NAS using NFS or SMB/CIFS, and ANR. The multi-interface version adds audio input and output, alarm input and output, and 12 V DC power alongside PoE. Local recording is supported on microSD, SDHC, or SDXC cards up to 256 GB, which can be useful when edge storage is required for local retention at the camera. The camera also supports SIP/VoIP, ONVIF Profile G, Q, S, and T, and API integration. Its IK10-rated metal housing, IP67 weather-resistant design, and -40 °C to 60 °C operating range support use in demanding indoor or outdoor installations with limited shelter.
