The Ubiquiti UniFi Switch Pro 48 (USW-Pro-48) is designed to serve as a high-density aggregation and access switch for enterprise and advanced professional networks. For high-speed uplinks and backbone connectivity, the switch includes four 10G SFP+ ports with backward compatibility for 1G SFP, enabling flexible fiber or DAC connections to core switches or servers. Built for performance-intensive environments, the switch delivers a switching capacity of 176 Gbps and a total non-blocking throughput of 88 Gbps, ensuring simultaneous full-speed communication across all ports without congestion. With full Layer 3 support, the switch enables inter-VLAN routing, reducing dependency on external routers and improving latency for internal traffic flows. Integrated static routing capabilities support up to 1,000 IPv4 routes, while the Layer 3 table accommodates 4,000 ARP entries, ensuring stable performance in large IP environments. For automated network services, the USW-Pro-48 includes a DHCP server for local networks as well as DHCP relay, simplifying IP address management across segmented infrastructures. On the security and access-control side, the switch supports IPv4 access control lists (up to 128 rules) and MAC-based ACLs (128 entries), enabling granular traffic filtering and network isolation policies.

Layer 2 capabilities are equally comprehensive.
