The Milesight MS-C5361-X12PC is a 5MP AI 12X PTZ bullet network camera designed for detailed monitoring across wide areas and changing scene distances. Its 1/2.8-inch progressive scan CMOS sensor delivers images up to 2592 × 1944, giving operators more detail than standard Full HD when identifying objects, people, or activity in the scene. The 5.3 to 64 mm motorized lens provides 12X optical zoom, so the camera can move from a broad overview to a closer view of distant subjects while maintaining optical clarity instead of relying only on digital enlargement. With a horizontal field of view from 57° to 4°, the same device can support overview surveillance and targeted inspection.

The camera supports continuous 360-degree pan and a tilt range from -45° to 30°, allowing coverage of large areas from a single installation point. Preset-based operation makes recurring monitoring easier: up to 300 presets, 8 patrols, and 4 patterns can be configured for automated movement. Auto tracking, proportional zoom, 3D positioning, PTZ limits, initial position, and power-off memory help the camera return to useful viewing behavior after movement or restart. Auto scan, auto home, and preset freezing further support controlled PTZ operation, making the camera practical for active surveillance rather than fixed-angle observation.

The MS-C5361-X12PC is built for scenes where lighting can change significantly during the day or night. In low light, the camera can operate in color down to 0.008 lux at F1.6, while black-and-white operation with IR enables monitoring in darkness. The IR illumination reaches up to 140 m, supporting long-range night surveillance without requiring separate lighting in many installations. Day, night, automatic, customized, and scheduled modes allow the image mode to follow the operating environment.

Video output is designed to balance detail, frame rate, and storage efficiency. The primary stream supports 5MP recording at up to 30 fps in 60 Hz mode, with higher frame rates available at lower resolutions for smoother motion capture. H.265+, H.265, H.264+, H.264, and MJPEG compression provide compatibility with different recording systems, while adjustable bit rate control helps match video quality to storage or bandwidth requirements. Smart Stream can further reduce bandwidth, storage, and bit rate, and privacy masking with up to 28 areas helps limit visibility in selected parts of the scene when privacy zones are required.

The camera includes AI video analytics that help focus attention on meaningful events rather than constant manual viewing. Supported analysis functions include region entrance, region exiting, advanced motion detection, tamper detection, line crossing, loitering, object left, and object removed. Face detection can detect and capture faces with real-time snapshots, while people counting reports entry and exit activity and supports up to 4 regional detection areas. These functions make the camera suitable for monitoring areas where movement, presence, or object changes need to trigger a response. Event triggers also include motion detection, network disconnection, and optional external input or audio alarm.

For integration, the MS-C5361-X12PC provides a 10/100M Ethernet port, NAS storage support, ANR, microSD/SDHC/SDXC local storage up to 256 GB, and ONVIF Profile G, Q, S, and T compatibility. Audio features include two-way audio and multiple compression formats, while optional audio and alarm I/O expand event handling when required. Event actions can include FTP upload, SMTP upload, SD card recording, HTTP notification, white LED activation, and PTZ motion.
