Teltonika TRB145 LTE RS485 Gateway

The Teltonika TRB145 is a compact and highly reliable industrial IoT gateway designed to provide secure LTE Cat 1 connectivity for remote device management. Equipped with an RS485 serial interface, the TRB145 enables seamless integration with a wide variety of industrial equipment such as PLCs, sensors, and controllers, making it ideal for automation and monitoring applications. In addition to the RS485 port, the device offers one configurable digital input/output and a micro-USB 2.0 port for local management and configuration. Powered by a 1.2 GHz ARM Cortex-A7 processor and 128 MB RAM, it ensures stable operation even in demanding environments. The device is equipped with a mini-SIM (2FF) slot that enables connection to a mobile network. Power is supplied through a wide voltage range of 9 to 30 V DC, ensuring compatibility with various power sources. In addition, the SMA connector allows the use of an external LTE antenna, providing a more stable signal and extended coverage.

The TRB145 is engineered for industrial-grade performance with its rugged aluminum housing and compact design, allowing easy installation in space-constrained environments. It operates in a wide temperature range from -40°C to +75°C and can withstand high humidity levels (10–90% non-condensing). The device also includes DIN rail mounting options, making it suitable for installation on factory floors, in transportation systems, or in energy applications. The gateway runs on RutOS, Teltonika’s advanced Linux-based firmware, which provides a wide set of networking and security features. These include multiple VPN services (OpenVPN, IPsec, GRE, PPTP, L2TP), advanced firewall rules, SMS management, and MQTT support for IoT integration. The device is compatible with Teltonika’s Remote Management System (RMS), allowing centralized monitoring of multiple units, easy deployment of FOTA updates, and bulk configuration of settings. With a maximum power consumption of just 5 W, the TRB145 is an energy-efficient, versatile, and long-lasting solution for modern industrial automation.
