Teltonika TRB142 LTE RS232 Gateway

The Teltonika TRB142 is a highly compact, lightweight, and energy-efficient industrial gateway designed to provide reliable LTE Cat 1 connectivity in mission-critical environments. Powered by a 1.2 GHz ARM Cortex-A7 processor, supported with 128 MB RAM and 512 MB Flash memory, this gateway ensures stable operation even in demanding applications. Its primary feature is the RS232 interface, widely used for legacy and modern industrial equipment, enabling smooth serial communication and remote management. The TRB142 runs on RutOS, a Linux-based firmware developed by Teltonika, which adds advanced capabilities such as VPN services (OpenVPN, IPsec, PPTP, GRE), firewall rules, SMS control, MQTT support, and industrial automation protocols. With download speeds of up to 10 Mbps and upload speeds of 5 Mbps, it delivers stable data transfer for monitoring, automation, and IoT applications. Built for harsh environments, it operates in an extended temperature range of –40°C to +75°C and withstands high humidity and vibrations.
