Teltonika FTC881

The Teltonika FTC881 is a next-generation, high-voltage battery-mounted GPS tracker built to deliver reliable performance in harsh and demanding environments. Designed for advanced vehicle and equipment monitoring, it uses 4G LTE Cat 1 connectivity with fallback to 2G, supporting LTE FDD bands B1, B3, B5, B7, B8, B20, and B28. This ensures stable communication with data speeds of up to 10 Mbps downlink and 5 Mbps uplink, making it suitable for real-time telemetry and fleet applications. Its IP69K certification highlights exceptional durability, providing resistance to dust, steam, vibration, and high-pressure water, that is ideal for construction machinery, agricultural vehicles, and outdoor assets exposed to extreme conditions. For positioning, the tracker integrates multi-constellation GNSS support, including GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, and BeiDou. A 135-channel receiver, sensitivity down to –165 dBm, and accuracy of < 1.8 m CEP ensure dependable location tracking even in low-signal areas such as urban canyons or dense industrial zones. With velocity accuracy of < 0.1 m/s, the FTC881 provides precise and consistent movement data for reliable operational oversight.

The FTC881 offers excellent power flexibility and energy-saving features. It operates on a wide input voltage range of 10–90 V DC, making it compatible with a variety of vehicle power systems. Inside, a built-in 320 mAh Li-Ion backup battery ensures continuous operation even if main power is lost. To conserve energy and minimize drain on the vehicle’s battery, the device supports optimized sleep modes: Deep Sleep, Online Sleep, and Power-Off Sleep. It’s configurable and updatable via Teltonika’s FOTA Web or the Configuration Tool (via USB Type-C), and supports advanced telemetry scenarios such as crash detection, over-speeding, jamming, unplugging, excessive idling, and geofencing. Additional features include an accelerometer, nano-SIM slot, USB-Type C interface, internal high-gain GNSS and cellular antennas, 128 MB of internal flash memory for data logging, and dual status LEDs for diagnostics.
