Teltonika Blue PUCK MOV Motion Sensor – Long-Range Bluetooth Asset Monitoring

Blue PUCK MOV is a Bluetooth 4.0 LE motion detection sensor designed for monitoring the movement status, angular position, and unexpected movement of assets, trailers, and other specified equipment. It works as a compact wireless signal transmitter, helping extend motion-related monitoring to business cases where equipment or movable assets need to be observed remotely. The sensor uses 2.4 GHz Bluetooth Low Energy 4.0/4.2 technology and supports a transmission range of up to 500 meters in open field conditions. This long-range capability allows data to be collected from a distance where the installation environment permits. Signal strength and data sending intervals are configurable, giving users the ability to adapt the device to different monitoring requirements. The transmission period can be programmed from 0.1 to 10 seconds, allowing a balance between update frequency and operating needs. NFC support is also included for compatible use cases.

Blue PUCK MOV is built for long-term use in demanding installations where durability and operating lifetime are important. The sensor is housed in an IP68-rated waterproof industrial casing, supporting use in environments where protection against water ingress is required. Its round housing has a 57 mm base diameter and an 18 mm thickness, with two 4 mm mounting holes spaced 49 mm apart for secure attachment to assets or equipment. Weighing 36 g, the sensor remains compact while offering a battery lifecycle of up to 12 years from one battery. It is designed to operate across a wide temperature range from -40°C to +85°C, making it suitable for applications exposed to both low and high operating temperatures within the stated limits. The product is RoHS certified, while CE, FCC, and ISED/IC certifications are listed as in progress.
