Long-Range LoRa Gateway

The MikroTik R11e-LR8G is a compact mini PCIe card designed to add full LoRaWAN gateway functionality to any compatible RouterOS device equipped with a mini PCIe slot. Operating in the 863–870 MHz frequency range, it supports 8 independent LoRa channels, allowing efficient handling of large numbers of LoRa sensors and end-devices. The module is built on a high-performance LoRa chipset that provides excellent receive sensitivity down to –141 dBm, ensuring stable long-distance communication even in challenging environments. Its RF output power reaches up to 27 dBm, enabling strong uplink and downlink coverage for industrial, agricultural, and smart-city applications. A built-in GPS receiver adds position and timestamp capabilities for packet synchronization and location-based functionality. With its low power consumption (approximately 1.3 W maximum) and broad –40 °C to +70 °C operating temperature range, the R11e-LR8G integrates easily into indoor routers, industrial gateways, and other protected enclosures. Its compact design makes integration simple, turning compatible devices into reliable long-range LoRaWAN gateways.
