The built-in sensor-ready GPIO header supports digital inputs, analog inputs, and open-drain outputs, all 24V tolerant, allowing easy integration with industrial automation equipment. Advanced Features
The KNOT Embedded LTE4 Global expands possibilities for industrial IoT with its advanced wireless capabilities. Featuring LTE connectivity across global FDD bands (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 12, 13, 18, 19, 20, 25, 26, 28) and TDD bands (38, 39, 40, 41), it ensures seamless connectivity in North America, EMEA, and other regions. The device also includes dual MIMO support for LTE, providing 2x2 downlink and 1x1 uplink channels for stable high-speed data transfer. Bluetooth Long Range and Extended Advertising support allow communication with multiple BLE devices simultaneously. GNSS capabilities using EG25-G support Galileo, GPS, Glonass, BDS, and QZSS standards, enabling precise tracking and positioning of mobile assets.
The device can operate from -40°C to +70°C, making it suitable for extreme industrial conditions. Two DC inputs (PoE-In or USB Type-C) support 12–57 V, and PoE 802.3af/at ensures easy deployment in constrained environments. The KNOT Embedded LTE4’s compact 90 x 70 x 22 mm size, 256 MB RAM, 256 MB NAND storage, and ARM 32-bit 800 MHz CPU provide sufficient processing power for IoT applications while consuming only 6 W max. Its versatility makes it an ideal choice for smart city infrastructure, industrial cabinets, retail kiosks, environmental monitoring, and vehicle or asset tracking. Global LTE Connectivity

The global LTE version supports extended LTE bands for North America and other non-EMEA markets. MikroTik eSIM allows activation of LTE data plans directly from the MikroTik account, eliminating physical SIM cards, carrier contracts, or delays. Dual-operator access via AT&T and US Cellular ensures reliable nationwide coverage in the USA, making it perfect for remote installations and backup connectivity. This device can be deployed as a primary gateway, a backup LTE link for existing Ethernet devices, or an IoT node collecting data from BLE sensors and beacons. With RouterOS, users gain full networking control, including VPNs, firewalls, SMS notifications, automation, and remote management.
