Reyee Wi-Fi 6 Indoor Ceiling Access Point

The RG-RAP2266 is an indoor ceiling-mount access point built for Wi-Fi 6 wireless networks with dual-radio AX3000 performance. It supports the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands, reaching up to 574 Mbps on 2.4 GHz and 2402 Mbps on 5 GHz, so the device can serve everyday connected clients while reserving higher-capacity operation for the 5 GHz radio. Both radios use 2×2 MU-MIMO, helping the access point communicate efficiently with multiple compatible devices instead of treating every connection as a separate isolated stream. Support for Wi-Fi 5, Wi-Fi 4, and earlier IEEE standards also helps it operate with a broad range of client devices.

Its five built-in omnidirectional antennas are integrated into a circular housing designed for ceiling installation, keeping the device visually discreet in indoor spaces such as hotel-style interiors. Recommended coverage is specified separately for each band, with 40 meters on 2.4 GHz and 70 meters on 5 GHz, while maximum Wi-Fi coverage reaches 150 meters depending on the installation environment. The access point supports up to 512 clients, with 110 recommended clients for practical planning, and can broadcast up to eight SSIDs for separating different wireless networks within the same deployment. A single gigabit Ethernet port provides the wired network connection for the access point.

The RG-RAP2266 is designed to simplify multi-access-point deployments through Reyee Mesh, allowing extra access points to be added with less wiring. Roaming support includes Layer 2 and Layer 3 roaming together with 802.11k/v-based smart AI roaming, helping connected users move across the wireless environment while the system guides devices between access points. WLAN functions such as OFDMA, beamforming, WMM, DFS, Wi-Fi optimization, STA limits, low-RSSI client removal, load balancing, and cloud-based channel and power adjustment support a more controlled wireless experience. Blacklist and whitelist functions also help administrators manage which devices are allowed to connect.

Management can be handled through Ruijie Cloud and the app, with options for remote monitoring and maintenance, cloud portal authentication, firmware upgrades, app-based upgrades and restarts, scheduled restart, local and online upgrade, backup, system logs, diagnostics, and network checks. Network access can be configured with PPPoE client, DHCP client, or static IP modes, while VLAN and DHCP server support help integrate the access point into structured networks. Installation is ceiling-mountable with a rotating mounting approach, and power can be supplied by IEEE 802.3at PoE or a 12 V/2 A DC source, with DC power not included. Power consumption is rated at up to 18 W.
