QuSpot for TRB500

QuSpot for Teltonika TRB500 is an outdoor antenna enclosure that combines multi-band LTE and 5G omnidirectional antennas with space for installing a Teltonika TRB500 in one integrated unit. By placing the gateway and antenna system inside a single IP67 enclosure, it supports compact outdoor deployments where the device and its antennas are installed together rather than as separate components. This integrated design allows new outdoor TRB500 solutions to be implemented while keeping the antenna system closely matched with the device. The antenna system is designed for outdoor wireless connectivity in a range of environments.

It is suitable for moving applications such as transportation, yachting, boats, and camping, as well as city centres with high signal density. Its omnidirectional antenna design supports coverage around the enclosure, which is useful when the installation is mobile or when precise directional antenna alignment is not practical. The 5G antenna operates across a broad 0.6 to 6.35 GHz frequency range and supports many LTE and 5G bands. This wide-band coverage helps the TRB500 work across different mobile network frequency ranges through the integrated antenna system. The antenna uses vertical polarization and 50 Ω impedance, with a 360° azimuth beamwidth supporting omnidirectional operation.

The enclosure is built for outdoor use and is designed to operate in demanding weather conditions. Its IP68 ingress protection helps protect the installed equipment from environmental exposure, while the operating temperature range from -40°C to 75°C supports deployment in both cold and hot outdoor locations. The housing is made from ABS, aluminum, and PTFE, combining protective materials with the structure needed for an integrated outdoor antenna solution. Installation is supported on walls or masts. The mast mounting range covers diameters from 25 to 66 mm, making the unit suitable for common outdoor mounting poles.

With dimensions of 160 x 160 x 240 mm and a weight of 1.5 kg, the enclosure remains compact while still providing space for the TRB500 inside. The RJ45 connector type supports wired network connection through the enclosure, helping keep the installation contained in one outdoor assembly. The set includes a Passive PoE splitter that separates data and power from a single Ethernet cable while maintaining gigabit transfer speeds. It is designed to help protect the LAN port from damage caused by overvoltage, short circuit, or improper connection. The PoE function supports Passive PoE up to 24 V and must not be used with an 802.3af/at power source.
