Efficient Performance
The MikroTik GPeRx6 (CSS606-1G-2Gi-3S+OUT) is a compact outdoor switch that simplifies network design by combining data and power delivery in a single solution. It is equipped with three Gigabit Ethernet ports and three 10G SFP+ ports, offering both copper and fiber connectivity for flexible network topologies. The first Ethernet port supports PoE-in, while ports two and three can provide PoE-out to power compatible devices such as IP cameras or wireless access points. Built with a dedicated 10G switching chip, the GPeRx6 ensures high performance and stable throughput. The rugged IP66-rated enclosure protects the hardware from dust and water, while its wide operating temperature range from –40 °C to +70 °C makes it reliable in harsh environments. Compact and rugged, it is easy to mount in outdoor installations, providing enterprise-grade performance in a streamlined and durable design.
Power Management
The GPeRx6 offers flexible power input options through both a DC jack (12–57 V) and PoE-in (42–57 V, 802.3bt standard). Power consumption is efficient, starting from just 6 W without additional load and scaling up to 160 W at full output. Two Ethernet ports support PoE-out, delivering up to 57 V of passive PoE for connected devices. Depending on input voltage, each PoE-out port can supply up to 1.2 A (below 30 V) or 0.625 A (above 30 V), with a maximum combined current of 2.4 A. In addition, the device includes three DC outputs for powering equipment that does not support PoE. This combination of Ethernet, fiber, and multiple power delivery options makes the GPeRx6 extremely versatile, reducing the need for external adapters or separate power infrastructure while supporting diverse devices in outdoor networks.
Installation Flexibility
The GPeRx6 is designed for demanding environments where durability and simplicity are essential. Its IP66-rated outdoor enclosure ensures resistance to dust, rain, and extreme conditions, while the broad temperature tolerance makes it dependable year-round. By combining 10G SFP+ ports for long-distance fiber uplinks with Gigabit Ethernet for local connections, it bridges modern backbone infrastructure with edge devices. The built-in PoE-out and DC-out functions reduce cabling requirements by simultaneously delivering data and power through the same hybrid cable. This feature is especially valuable for surveillance cameras, remote access points, IoT sensors, and perimeter security installations. The GPeRx6 significantly simplifies deployment by cutting down on extra cabling, external power supplies, and weatherproofing measures. As a result, it offers a cost-effective way to build scalable outdoor networks that are both powerful and reliable, providing long-term flexibility for operators and enterprises.
